Our Story

Comfort you can hold onto

Cuddle Buds started with a personal search for calm — and a belief that the soothing power of deep pressure should live in something you actually want to hug.

My Story

It started with my own search for calm

As someone who knows firsthand the struggle of social anxiety and insomnia, I understand the frustration of trying product after product with little success. I tried everything from aromatherapy to guided meditation, but nothing seemed to work.

That's when I discovered the therapeutic benefits of weighted stuffed animals. Unlike other products that provide only temporary relief, weighted stuffed animals use deep pressure stimulation to create a comforting sensation that releases soothing brain chemicals, promoting calmness and relaxation.

Why we built Cuddle Buds

Not all weighted animals are created equal

But not all weighted stuffed animals are created equal. I tried various brands, but they were often too heavy or made of low-quality materials, which left me feeling more anxious and restless than before.

That's why we decided to create Cuddle Buds, a premium line of plush and soft weighted stuffed animals that provide the perfect balance of weight and comfort. Our cuddly companions are made with the highest quality materials, designed to offer a cozy embrace that promotes a sense of calm and comfort.
